My husband and I started Dundas Daycare with the intent to provide a warm, home like atmosphere for little minds to flourish.

I worked in the field of special needs for years and decided to switch my focus to children after having my daughter (Elyssa), I also have a son Quinten.

My hope is that all families will feel like this is a warm, inviting, loving home away from home for their little ones to spend their days growing, learning and exploring.

My husband and I started Dundas Daycare with the hope of creating a warm, loving, home-like environment where little minds can truly flourish.

I spent several years working in the field of special needs before shifting my focus to early childhood after the birth of my daughter, Elyssa. I also have a son, Quinten, who keeps life busy and full of joy.

My goal is for every family to feel comfortable and confident knowing their child is in a safe, caring space that feels like a second home—somewhere children can grow, learn, and explore each day while being surrounded by kindness and support.

Hello! My name is Abby and I’m very excited to be part of the Dundas Daycare team.

 

I graduated from Conestoga College in June of 2022 with a diploma in Early Childhood Education. In my time at school and past work experiences, I have worked with many different age groups, including preschool, kindergarten, and school-aged children.

 

I have worked with children for a long time in many different capacities, and my love for the work only continues to grow. I believe children are competent and capable learners who are in control of their learning, and I am excited to support your children while we grow and learn together!

Hello families!

My name is Ava, and I am excited to be part of the Dundas daycare team. I recently graduated from the Early Childhood Education program at Mohawk College and am passionate about creating positive, supportive, and engaging environments where children can learn and grow.

Throughout my experience working with children, I have enjoyed building meaningful relationships, supporting children’s individual interests, and helping them develop confidence through play and exploration. I believe every child is unique and learns best when they feel safe, valued, and encouraged to be themselves.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, practicing yoga, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.

I look forward to getting to know you and your children and becoming part of the community!

Hello everyone! My name is Alanna Fradette and I’m so excited to be part of the Dundas Daycare team. I am a Mohawk graduate from the Early Childhood Education program in 2015. Since then, I’ve been passionately working with families every step of the way. I believe children are brilliant and deserve an environment that helps them grow through love, support, and experiences.

Hi everyone! My name is Rosslyn and I am a graduate from the Early Childhood Education program at Mohawk College (April, 2023). I had the opportunity to do my second placement at Dundas Daycare where I learned the value of a great team and Daycare community. I was so excited when I had the chance to come back and work full time. Having two children has made me realize the importance of early childhood experiences and a strong foundation. Now while they are off at school I hope to contribute to others.

I am excited to continue working with current children and families while looking forward to meeting new ones!

Hi there!

 I am thrilled and thankful to be a part of the Dundas Daycare team. Originally from Toronto, I moved to Hamilton in 2016 and completed my Bachelors of Life Sciences degree from McMaster University. Following that I completed my Early Childhood Education diploma at Mohawk College in 2023. I am hoping to continue my child development education in the future.

 

I love arts/crafts, sewing, exploring and playing games; including dramatic play, sensory experiences and engaging puzzles. I am a nature and animal lover, and hope to encourage my students to care for one another and our environment.
