About Us
Within our warm nurturing learning environment, your child will feel safe, happy and secure while under the care of our attentive educators and qualified staff. Dundas Daycare offers a diverse atmosphere, where children from a variety of backgrounds build the self-confidence, self-discipline, and necessary social skills to succeed in their kindergarten and elementary education.
Our hours are 7am - 6pm

Dundas Daycare strives to provide a home away from home environment. We understand the level of trust you place in us when you enroll your child in our program. We are committed to providing the highest quality of care and education possible for each and every child. At Dundas Daycare we follow the emergent curriculum philosophy. We believe children are a part of our centre and have voices that need to be heard. Our approach is to plan a curriculum that emerges from the children’s interest.
We feel children have very complex minds and when they are given an opportunity they come up with extraordinary ideas. Giving children choice allows them to become independent and confident in their daily activities, it allows them to expand their ideas and have fun while learning.We believe children need to feel a sense of belonging. We strive to create a place for each child by acknowledging and valuing diversity.

Snacks
Dundas Daycare provides a nutritious lunch and two nutritious snacks. Special dietary restrictions for medical or religious reasons will always be observed. With sufficient notice, the centre will try to accommodate requests for special diets. Parents may be required to provide the necessary foods.
